Hercules Computing is excited to introduce the Hercules PalmTop - the lightest PALM size Windows 10 PC that does not compromise computing power!You can use Hercules PalmTop as a mobile PC and a mini desktop at your home or office. Since it incorporates the same Windows 10 OS (Ubuntu, too) as your home or office PCs with compact palm size, you don't need to spend time and money on mobile version applications anymore!
Hercules PalmTop goes into a new category of PC, and you can see its position among other Windows based devices. Please understand the table below is only for comparison, and devices listed work synergistically together.

Powerful enough to run all Windows 10 applications with the strength of the newest Intel mobile CPU, Cherry Trail z8300, and 12 Core GPU, Hercules PalmTop can support graphic rich tasks more fluidly and than most other mobile devices including casual games.
Its 4G memory and 64G(or 128G optional) internal storage surpass most mobile computing requirements.
Need more storage? NO PROBLEM. Hercules PalmTop is equipped with an SD card port that grows your storage up to 128G, providing for a maximum 256G storage. Of course, you can use USB memory as well.
Fast Connectivity / Noiseless Construction
Hercules PlamTop has great connectivity to conveniently use other peripherals. An HDMI port to connect HD TVs or projectors, 3.5 mm headphone jack, USB 3.0 and 2.0 one of each. USB 3.0 transfers data 10 times faster than USB 2.0.
Hercules PalmTop has self cooling construction to handle the heat from Cherry Trail CPU, and doesn't have a separate fan.
Connect with More Devices
As a Windows 10 PC with the advance connectivity via wifi ac, Hercules PalmTop can be connected and controlled by Android/iOS phones and tablets using remote desktop control applications in the market. This way, you will feel you are turning a smartphone or a tablet into a Windows 10 PC, since you use full desktop version applications i.e. Photoshop or Powerpoint through the phone or the tablet.

The Development
The commitment to Hercules PalmTop began in early 2014. Hercules evaluated all available base boards and dropped the idea of stick PCs, because the HDMI connector wasn’t firm enough with all connectors in use.The chip sets available to the market were changing so rapidly and after Baytrail proved disappointing in both performance, Hercules Computing decided to wait for the sample run of Cherry Trail.
Combinations of integrated connectors were also limitless, but the optimum configuration was brought to the current Hercules PalmTop.

Risks and challenges
As you see from still photos and videos in the above content, we have real working prototypes with full functionality. Hercules Computing has done the required preliminary research thoroughly enough to make this project safe and continues to pursue manufacturing on a larger scale.
